Created using some of the distillery’s rarest and most exquisite casks by The Dalmore Master Distiller, Richard Paterson OBE. Initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels, the whisky is then influenced by Cabernet Sauvignon red wine barriques. It is transferred back into ex-Bourbon for a time before a penultimate stage in Tawny Port pipes which previously held 20-year-old Port wines. This precious spirit is finally married with aged whisky matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels and select Colheita Port pipes.
The result is a truly stunning Single Malt experience - an expression of The Dalmore's signature approach to longer and more complex maturation in the world's most celebrated casks.
