In homage of Wild Turkey Master Distiller Jimmy Russell's time and success with the brand, the Russell's set aside the best casks of aging bourbon to create Russell's Reserve 10 Year Old. The formula is simple and classic -- a solid mix of corn, wheat, rye, and a dash of barley distilled and aged a full ten years in dark #4 char, white oak casks.
The Russell's Reserve 10 Year Old is a great bourbon to introduce to new whiskey drinkers; its ABV and toffee and vanilla notes make it very approachable and not too overwhelming for the palate.
