The second of the two Sherry-influenced Malts in the Kurayoshi portfolio (the first being The Kurayoshi Sherry Cask), The Kurayoshi Pure Malt Sherry Cask is a 100% malted barley whisky, which was created by blending Japanese whisky and Scotch whisky. The spirit was cut to proof using the legendary volcanic stone filtered waters of Tottori Prefecture. The whisky was then matured for around three years before it was finished in Sherry casks.
TASTING NOTES
A sweet aroma of fruits and chocolate matches with lemon grass-like citrus flavor. A balanced aroma and smooth lingering finish.
