The story
Under the watchful eye of our Master Distiller, the liquid is initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. This gives its first base of soft vanilla and honey notes.
The whisky is then finished in different styles of oloroso sherry casks including Amoroso, rare Apostoles and Matusalem oloroso which are hand selected from world renowned bodegas, including Gonzalez Byass.
Each sherry cask gifts the whisky with its own individual characteristics and flavours.
Tasting notes
The Aroma: Orange marmalade, cinnamon and nutmeg.
On the Palate: Mandarin, vanilla, ginger and crushed apples.
Finishing Notes: Caramelised orange and rich dark chocolate.
