A harmonious single malt with a warm character.
The Macallan Double Cask 18 Years Old, a perfectly balanced single malt whisky matured for 18 years in both American and European sherry seasoned oak casks. Sherry seasoned American oak adds delicate vanilla to the subtle spice of European oak, delivering a whisky with a sweeter, warmer taste and character.
Country of Origin: Scotland
COLOUR - Amber honey.
NOSE - Dried fruit and toffee with rich candied citrus peel, ginger and nutmeg.
PALATE - Raisin, sultana and dried apricot with notes of treacle toffee, vanilla and ginger. Toasted wood spice and baked apple.
FINISH - Long with warm oak and citrus.
