In honor & recognition of George Smith’s successful pursuit of obtaining the first whisky license in the Glen, this whisky will be a “First Fill Double Oak”, the fruity house style of The Glenlivet 12YO but now celebrated through First Fill barrels.

 

TASTING NOTES

Nose – Soft peaches, strawberry jam, intertwined

with warming cinnamon and gingerbread.

Taste – Golden honey, vanilla custard layered

perfectly with hazelnut and liquorice.

Finish – Long and slightly sweet finish with lasting

spice notes.

It's good. Better than the ordinary Glenlivet 12yrs but I'm still undecided if it's worth the extra money you pay for over the ordinary Glenlivet 12.
