I can't go back to local beers anymore after sinking my liver in Sapporo. The taste and amats is just top notch.

Quite drinkable

Thick head. Dark roasted malt and fairly light on the hops. Long, robust aftertaste. Flavor is straightforward, not fruity or complex. Goes down easy.
