DESCRIPTION

Laphroaig 10yo has a bold, smoky taste, followed by a hint of seaweed and a surprising sweetness. This full-bodied variant is the foundation of all Laphroaig expressions and comes with a long finish.

AMAZING!!

This is my introduction to Islay Whisky and just wow! I love the smokiness and the complexity in the taste. This maybe harsh for new whisky sippers. I started with Speyside Whisky (Glenfiddich 12 – still my favorite!) and Blended Scotch (Monkey Shoulder) then to Bourbon (Bulleit Burbon) which still came off too strong for me at first but going through that helped my taste acclimate to how strong an Islay is. Laphroaig is now one of my favorite whiskys. Highly recommended for those exploring whisk(e)y sipping! Cheers!
