Real absinthe

I did a bunch of research before buying absinthe. A lot of stuff on the market is 'fake' or colored absinthe, some flavored by star anise instead of anise seed. This one here, according to reviews I found online, is the real deal. And it's not too bad imo. Pretty strong (at such a high ABV), but also not too overpowering in the anise flavor. You can pick up nuances of other herbs and spices too, esp if you mix it with some water and sugar. The recommended ratio is 1:3, but I recommend lessening the sugar to around 1-half a barspoon.
