Cacao was introduced by the Spanish during their colonization of the Philippines in the 1800s and popularized a hot chocolate drink made from pure fermented cacao bears roasted, finely ground and mixed with sugar and pressed into table moulds we call "Tablea Tsokolate" or chocolate tablet.

A great addition to your liquor bar. Used it for a chocolate flavored cocktail that included Baileys, Kahlua, a splash of fresh milk and of course Intramuros. You could also add a little Bourbon too. Our version of a Choco-Loco ;)
Pleasantly surprised with how the cacao is the star of the show. It might be a tad on the sweeter side but this is an absolute must try!

It also works well for spicing up an ordinary chocolate drink...or mixed with Cointreau for an orange-chocolate taste.
