One of the three official Craigellachie bottlings released in 2014, their 13 year old single malt Scotch whisky handsomely shows off the bold, robust character of the distillery's output. Oodles of dynamic fruit notes with a distinctive current of smoke running through the middle. Single malt Craigellachie hasn't been seen much outside of indie bottlings recently, so this is an ace return to our glasses from the distillery!

Dessert in a bottle

Despite the 46% alcohol content, it still maintains it's dessert-ish taste without the harshness or throat burn. Tastes like baked apples with caramel. You can even add a few drops of water to tame the alcohol a little. Would not recommend adding ice as it would probably spoil the flavor. My first single malt but will probably go down as one of my favorites.

Should be enjoyed responsibly!

This is one of the best tasting whiskies I ever had. I always keep bottles of this in stock. So much fruitiness you wouldn't notice the ABV content of 46%. This is the whisky you endorse to your non-whisky lover peers and automatically convert them. Don't enjoy so much of it for it will give you one hell of a headache the next day waking up. Haha!
