3 ounces Barefoot Merlot
3/4 ounce Creme de Cacao
1 1/2 ounces Cranberry Juice Cocktail
1/2 ounce Brown Sugar Syrup
Granulated Sugar and Unsweetened Cocoa Powder Garnish


To make Brown Sugar Syrup, place 1 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup water in saucepan over low heat. Stir continuously until barely begins to simmer. Remove from heat and allow to cool..
Combine 2 tablespoons granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon cocoa powder on a shallow plate.
Lightly rim chilled chocolate glass with creme de cacao. Dip rim in sugar mixture. Set aside.
Place all liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled.
Strain into prepared cocktail glass.
