TASTING NOTES
Colour: Bright Auric
Nose: Very, Bright, Fresh, Herbal, with hints of vanilla, pear, freshly cracked black pepper, honey-glazed ham. Rich Turkish coffee, sappy pine resin.
With water, more herbal top note like vetiver and fennel, along with aniseed, green apple and leather.
Taste: A rich, explosive mouthfeel with lots of chocolate, tar, creosote and smoked bacon, followed by a burst of antiseptic lozenges, eucalyptus and more aniseed.
Finish: A long, salty and mouthcoating finish with hints of cocoa, fudge and savoury meats.
ABV: 47.4 %

Love this bottle so smokey and peaty great taste. Not for your average whiskey drinker and is somewhat a strong bold taste, it’s not for everyone. For it’s one of the best whiskeys available.

Initial sip was quite harsh but succeeding sips just got sweeter. Surprisingly sweet when it touches the tip of your toungue. Smells like a campfire and farmer's ham/non-smoked bacon. Don't be turned off by the 5 year statement. This is well worth it.

Compared to the Ardbeg OA, it tasted young and fresh. Personally, i prefer the more mature and bolder taste of the OA or uighedail.
