Clase Azul Tequila Día de Muertos Limited Edition Aromas 1L
During Día de Muertos, a sea of unmistakable aromas fills the streets and homes in Mexican towns and cities. Ofrendas are adorned with copal, exquisite dishes, and cempasúchil flowers, while local markets overflow with fruits, spices, and sweets that awaken the senses.
For this limited edition, Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco created an aromatic añejo tequila aged for 25 months in American whiskey casks and finished in Armagnac casks. The result is an enveloping atmosphere that leaves an indelible mark on memory — an aromatic landscape recognizable even with eyes closed.
This third installment of Clase Azul’s five-year Día de Muertos series celebrates aromas and the memories they evoke. The decanter’s decoration honors the cempasúchil flower with a deep marigold glaze that darkens toward the base. On the back, a dreamlike illustration depicts folkloric characters and Xoloitzcuintles (Mexican hairless dogs) harvesting cempasúchil flowers of miraculous proportions.
