This 15 year old single malt from the Speyburn distillery has been introduced in the latter half of 2017. This has been matured in a combination of American and Spanish oak casks for 15 years.
It appears to be amber with gold highlights. It gives off a smell that hints of rich dark chocolate with spicy notes of raisins, zesty citrus fruits, and vanilla. Meanwhile, as for the palate, there are notes of oranges, toffee, vanilla, and leather wrapped together with a gentle spice. One can notice its long lasting finish having a warming spice which is sweet.
This Speyburn 15 year old received numerous awards in the past years such as the 2022 International Spirits Challenge - Gold, 2021 International Wine and Spirit Competition - Gold, and the International Wine and Spirit Competition trophy.
