Bing cherry, plum, and cassis followed by vanilla, cocoa bean, caramel, a hint of cedar and a lingering note of dark chocolate. The palate shows layers of dried black cherry, fleshy ripe plum, and firm, full and fine tannins. Flavors of smoky, toasted oak and exotic spice compliment this weighty and full big wine. The wine will benefit from decanting.
FOOD PAIRING
