Proclamation Gin is a small batch gin from the Philippines made with the finest sampaguita flowers, handpicked by women farmers in Central Luzon.
Launched this 2021, Proclamation Gin celebrates the national flower (officially declared in the year 1934 on Proclamation 652), which is also symbolic of day-to-day life in the Philippines. It represents purity, humility and strength, which is strongly featured in the distillation process.
Twelve botanicals were used: sampaguita flowers, juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica roots, orris roots, orange peels, lemon peels, liquorice roots, cassia barks, almond nuts, lemongrass--and toasted sticky rice--which is also the "aha!" for the surprise lingering finish.

TASTING NOTES
Nose: Toasted grains reminiscent of summer fields in the central part of the Philippines with the warm, relaxing climate, make a distinct mark. A hint of nutty, salty and deep earth aromas come through.
Taste: A smoky, fermented flavor initially hits the tongue and evolves into a slightly honeyed overall, leaving a satisfying warm finish. It surprises with very little hints of its floral infused distillation, and impresses with a unique and fresh character that is smooth and, not surprisingly, very organic
Finish: Natural, smooth, and tidy with a lingering surprise
