This drink was first aged in disused Bourbon barrels before being finished in Burgundy wine barrels. The result is a delightful whiskey with a core of creamy, spicy, and vanilla-driven Bourbon cask notes, as well as fruitier wine notes of red grapes, raspberries, cherries, mixed spice, and wine tannins.
