The Reserva Real is an elegant, lively, long-aged brut cava with a good structure. It was first launched in 1987 in celebration of the visit of the Spanish King and Queen to the Freixenet facility.

This rather special Cava has two Spanish words in its title. Reserva refers to wines that are aged for longer. And Real is the Spanish word for Royal, as the King made the very first tasting at the Winery in October 1987.

Reserva Real has won many awards and admirers talk lovingly of its toasty aroma, lively bubbles and creamy, refreshing finish. Try it yourself and see if you agree. Serve this special golden-yellow sparkler chilled, and drink with just about any food. Cava is really food-friendly.

TASTING NOTES

A cava with a yellow colour with straw highlights and abundant fine bubbles that form a prominent crown. On the nose, it presents the powerful bouquets of its aging, with a prevalence of soft toasted notes that are in perfect harmony with the aromas of dried fruit, yeast, pastries, ripe fruit, honey and a balsamic touch.
