This wine is produced from sites with characteristic blue slate soil. Our "Blue Slate" is always vinified dry and bottled as an estate Riesling, without a site name. The idea behind this wine is to produce a Riesling that very clearly shows the terroir of our growing area.
Colour: pale, straw yellow with hints of green. Nose: aromas of ripe stone fruits, citrus zest, ginger spice, and flint Palate: Well-balanced, notes of apple and peach, racy acidity and flint
