Chivas Regal Mizunara 700ml

Chivas Regal Mizunara is the world’s first Scotch whisky to be selectively finished in Japanese Mizunara oak Casks.

Mizunara oak – crafted from trees indigenous to Japan – is extremely rare and renowned for its distinctive porous nature, which requires expert maturation and blending capabilities.

The difficulty is worth it, as it imparts the whisky with a very unique flavour. Mizunara casks are celebrated for imparting a subtle yet distinctive spicy

finish, with Chivas Regal Mizunara showcasing this unique influence on the smooth, generous flavour profile of the Chivas House style.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Warm Amber

Nose: Rich and fruity, with pear and orange notes

Taste: Smooth and rich with a honey sweetness and a trace of hazelnut

Finish: Long and complex, with a touch of Mizunara spice

Classic Serve : Mizunara Camomball
Ingredients:

50mlChivasMizunara

80ml sweetened chamomile tea

70mlsodawater

Lemon zest,to garnish

How to Serve :
1. Boil 200ml of water and brew 2g of loose-leaf chamomile tea for 5 minutes. Add 25g of caster sugar and stir until dissolved. Let cool.
2. Add Chivas Mizunara and chamomile tea into a highball glass.
3. Fi l l the glass to the top with ice.
4. Add soda and give a small stir to blend ingredients.
5. Add another cube of ice (if needed) to make sure the ice is tight and compact.
6. Garnish with lemon zest.
7. Serve.
