The Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique Single Cask Whisky, also known as the “Vinho” is a Single Malt whisky from the world-renowned Taiwan Kavalan Distillery. Its maturation is widely talked about in the whisky community since it undergoes a unique process inside special barrels.
Because the special barrels are re-charred and toasted, it results to a special caramelization inside that brings out fruity vanilla notes as well as essences of wood.
With hints of citrus fruits, pepper, and other spices, the Vinho presents a strong but well-balanced aromas. Its creamy texture will cover your mouth and leave lingering traces of toffee and butterscotch.
