A balanced ume liqueur from Choya. Umeshu is made by steeping unripened Japanese plums in alcohol and sugar to allow the flavours to infuse. Ume is often mistaken for plum, although they are not the same. The ume fruits contain higher acidity than plums, specifically citric acid. This is a refreshing umeshu.

More Sour than Sweet. Hardly Sweet!

Sabi nga naman sa label it has more "tartness" than sweetness pero I was expecting kahit kaunting pa-sweet lang... pero wala! Or baka ako lang un. Medyo may pagkasweet, the more you drink it, pero baka iniinception ko lang sarili ko.
Pero okay siya! Eto ung hinahanap ko sa Umeshu ko. Ung mas tart than sweet and very very worth it for the price.
