Plantation Original Dark Rum is a versatile dark rum from Maison Ferrand. Master Distiller Alexandre Gabriel uses a Plantation proprietary bonificateur - a very old pot still rum with a high amount of esters - to shape its flavor profile.

Original Dark is a Barbados 3 year yum enhanced by this unique bonificateur that has been aged for 15-20 years.

The rich and intense style of Jamaica and Barbados, with their notes of plum, banana and vanilla, is enhanced by meticulous blending and further maturation, in France. The result is a profound structure spiced with notes of cinnamon and clove, whose smoky quality adds texture.

Medium to full body, with qualities of caramel, pecan and tropical fruit, this rum a premium house pour for tiki cocktails. An ideal companion for cocktails!

Yummy!! Blends well with cola. Super hilig ko sa rum coke, and i think nahanap ko na perfect rum for me.

Very good value - best as a mixer, imo

I was very impressed with the flavour and finish of this inexpensive rum. I prefer to use it as a mixer (the 5yo is a better sipper, imo). About the same price as Bacardi, but much more intense and complex. Buy this one.
