Appleton Estate 12 Year Old Rare Casks is a true expression of Master Blender Joy Spence's passion and craft. The rums that are incorporated in the 12 Year Old Rare Casks are hand-selected and crafted with Jamaican limestone-filtered water, with no added flavours, and have all been aged for a minimum of 12 years in the tropical climate of Jamaica.

As a smooth, sophisticated expression, the 12 Year Old Rare Casks reveals aromas of toasted oak, dried fruit, and hazelnut, followed by notes of dark cocoa, delicate molasses, orange peel, rich vanilla, and hints of coffee. This premium rum is perfected by our highly acclaimed Master Blender, Joy Spence, the first female Master Blender in the spirits industry.

The 12 Year Old Rare Casks is ideal for sipping on its own or elevating serves like the Blue Mountain Serve. This coffee-forward cocktail highlights the rich flavour of the aged rum.
