This year’s International Women’s Day is themed “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”. Let this year’s theme remind us of how far we’ve come and progressed towards the fight for gender equality. In the past, the role of women was limited. Now, we live in a society where women lead and produce remarkable results and create legacies. Women are now leaders in businesses and governments, frontliners, scientists, and doctors. International Women’s Day is all about making society realize that we must all take part towards the movement for women empowerment. To all women out there, let Women’s Day 2021 day be the day that we continue to empower each other instead of bringing each other down.
