Distilled in September and October of 1979, this is among the very last batch of whisky distilled at Tamnavulin in the 1970s. It was laid down in a combination of first fill Sherry butts and Bourbon barrels.

Packaged in a premium, cool grey, mill illustration printed wooden box with magnetic closure, gold-colour details including a bespoke metal badge on the front and textured based panels. Inside there is a luxury, turquoise interior along with an individually-bound hardback book featuring the Tamnavulin Vintages Collection story.

Initially matured in Bourbon barrels then transferred to 30 Years Old Matusalmen Oloroso Sherry butts before being returned to First Fill Bourbon barrels for a final maturation period to conclude the 39 year maturation.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Amber gold

Nose: Mediterranean oranges, figs, almonds and freshly baked ginger cake.

Taste: Tropical pineapple, roasted coffee and decadent Black Forest fruits.
