Ingredients

• 2 ounces bourbon/whisky
• ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
• ¾ ounce simple syrup
• ½ orange wheel
• Maraschino cherry

Instructions

1. Add bourbon/whisky, lemon juice, and simple syrup, if using, to a shaker and dry-shake for 30 seconds without ice.
2. Add ice and shake again until chilled.
3. Strain into a rocks glass.
4. Garnish with orange wheel and cherry.
